Barrister Bash 2.0
While the Champions League ties both ended in draws, there was only one winner of the CFAAR Barrister Bash 2.0: congratulations to Chloë Bell.
This Wednesday evening CFAAR was very pleased to host, joint with Monckton Chambers, the official book launch of Financial Services Law and Distributed Ledger Technology on the regulation of cryptoassets and decentralised finance by Brendan McGurk KC and Stefan Reichenbach.
Attendees enjoyed insightful remarks from Brendan and Michael Black KC on the current state of the law and how it is developing – and may yet develop – including by reference to divergent legal approaches recently taken in two U.S. states. The event was held in RPC's Dockside Lounge, overlooking the picturesque St Katharine's Docks, where guests mingled into the evening over drinks, canapes, and all things crypto.
